How to add a new plugin in WordPress

Adding a plugin to WordPress is easy. All you do is go to the WordPress Admin area, click on ‘Plugins’ and ‘Add new’. You then search for the plugin you want or activate an existing plugin.

Select ‘Add new’ from the dashboard

In the WordPress admin area, click on ‘Plugins’ and then ‘Add new’

Search for and install plugin

Search for the plugin you want to install and click on the ‘Install Now’ tab.

Activate the plugin

Once you have installed the plugin, simply click ‘Activate’

Plugin is now installed

In your WordPress Admin area, go to ‘Installed plugins’ and you will see the plugin you just activated. To deactivate it, simply click on ‘Deactivate’.
